A Vote for life
By Ana María Hanton
I am pro-life. I’ve always been pro-life. Come Nov. 3, I will be voting pro-life.
I will be voting for the lives of the immigrant children locked up in cages, separated from their parents, who risked their lives to escape hunger and violence. All they wanted was to give their children a future.
I will vote for the Dreamers who may lose the only life they know. I will vote for the lives of those on death row.
I will vote for that woman, man or child with a preexisting condition; they also deserve to live.
And for those who work three jobs but cannot put enough food on the table.
I will vote for the elders in a retirement home who got COVID-19 because our leaders did not warn us.
I will vote for the life of our planet, ignored and ill-treated for profit.
On Nov. 3, I will vote Democrat because I vote for life. I encourage you to vote for life, too!
